“Not-Nutella” Sugar-Free Spread
A spoonful of my Not-Nutella has zero grams of sugar. A spoonful of regular Nutella contains 11 grams (plus hydrogenated oil). If that’s not enough to convince you to spend five minutes making this, rest assured my version is unbelievably good—better than the original, in my opinion!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup hazelnut butter (or peanut butter if you’re frugal like me)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (use less for a thick spread; add more for a thinner consistency)
- 1 Tbs vanilla
- 4 packets stevia blend (equal to about 3 Tbs sugar), or to taste (I like Krisda Caramel stevia.)
Directions:
- Whisk ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Refrigerate. (It will thicken slightly in the fridge.)
